Wobbly Legs...

Something happened to me this weekend that only solidified my previous post. Time is too precious to waste. Mentally- it had added yet another deep dent in my armor, has thrown me for a loop, leveled me in about fifteen different ways, has me asking questions over and over, makes me want to know why. It has scared me on a primal level. I've seen something that not a lot get to see or even want to. Hubby summed it up best by saying the Unicorn got her Reaper (as in Grim) wings on Saturday. That's as far as I'm going to go into it due to certain laws. I've been leveled. Even $30 of Taco Bell, a Unicorn Slushie, and bourbon Saturday night didn't quite cover the therapy I need after Saturday morning's occurrence.
Bottom line- If it scares you- do it. If you love someone- tell them. Get a pet, buy a house plant, don't you ever, EVER put off things today because tomorrow might not come.

I am appreciating waking up without the need for an alarm on my phone these few days off. I am appreciating going out to lunch with friends, doodling at the kitchen table, s…

Image
Honestly, there've been more then 300 posts, I just am weird in the fact I go back and deleted ages old entries... But as promised- there is huge, happy shiny news to tell you all!!

Household things. Succulent obsessions. Artwork. And a pigeon named Chicken...
For a belated Valentine's day present, Hubby took me to Horrocks and let me spend way too much money on my new obesssion- succulent plants. Like we really needed more houseplants in this greenhouse/ virtual conservatory of a domicile we call home... But I got more. Lots more. My art table is now less artsy work area and more hay places to take pictures of my daily growing and changing succulent babies.

The beasts known as stress and anxiety have taken a toll on what's left of my already busy mind and I have recently found comfort in an old friend named Robert Frost. He's been one of my favorite poets since high school and right now, copying his words in my notebook that's always with me brings me back to when …
