Assorted Rant Day...

First chapping my booty topic- The Royally Fake and Not at all Important Wedding!!! Ugh... As if the regular wedding season crap wasn't enough to turn the stomachs of most people- this royal wedding shit has got to stop! So two people, with fake titles and fake power will by tying the knot in England tomorrow. BIG DEAL!! Sure, Willy has the better chance to be king, because lets face it- Charles is a cheating douche bag and no one likes Camilla, but gees- All the prime time specials, ads for coverage starting at 4am on the east coast.... COME ON!
Who really cares about the extreme need to buy/built a hat for the special day? Who cares about people gathering for tea times at 4am to watch the wedding on t.v. in some restaurant somewhere? So what? I was a little kid when Diana and Charles got hitched, so maybe the pomp and circumstance is lost on me, but lets face it! They will only have power by name and privileges! The Queen only has the power to veto certain things- that it! Parliam…

Tidbits and Oh Sh@#!

The is an artist featured in Timbaland's new song "Morning After Dark" SoShy. Love the ink, girly!!!

Topic One: MusicI have updated my favorite songs list on here, adding only a couple- but they are a couple on high rotation today. Number one- "On the Floor" by Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull. I find it funny how people are constantly shit talking the amount of "techno" there once was in music but now if you listen, the bulk of songs are heavy in the "dreaded techno"- i.e. Jennifer's new song. Anything Ke$ha is techno induced, and hell- even Timbaland's new song with SoShy, is heavy into the techno beats. And no- I do not like Lady Gaga's new tune "Judas". I've listened to it lots today, and still... Not a big fan. Maybe releasing a song praising Judas wasn't such a hot idea to do during Holy Week last week... Just sayin'...
Topic Two: Severe Weather meets Din Din with Dad. Oh holy poop!!!! La Nina, La Nina- it…

Chronicals of Streppy Throat...

Oh how I have missed you all!
Since last week Wednesday I have been sleeping, crying, weeping, starving, gagging, in immense pain, and praying for a death blow. Today- I am feeling much better as the antibiotics have been in my system and kicking ass since noon on Saturday.
I feel ill last week with a massive migraine that would not die no matter what drugs I took. I slept pretty much all damn day Thursday. Thursday night the migraine went buh-bye but the sore throat persisted. Thursday morning, day two of a fever of 103.2, I believe is the last day I ate solid food, by the way. Friday morning, I was in agony. The small bodily task of swallowing even a minute quantity of water was that equal to driving a knife into my throat every time. Even swallowing my own spit hurt like hell. I slept almost then entire day Friday. Each night waking up at two am to find the bed around me completely drenched in sweat and myself dripping wet as I crawled to the bathroom to towel off. Friday night, with…

So work is done for the day, I've eaten lunch/breakfast, the house is clean, the laundry is washing, my computer is put back together and working and upgraded in all the right spots. I've cleaned out/sorted all the shit bogging down them numerous picture folders, I posted new "for sale panels" of pictures yesterday, e-mail are answered, new doodle for my sadly empty sweat shirt is sketched out... I am accomplished!
Now what? Oh- wait now I remember, to write an actual blog! I haven't done this since when... Last week sometime? Well- here's a Ketchup recap- a short squirt about those pesky missing blog days. Saturday- Hubby and I went down to Wayland (yup, that town that I think sucks ass) for the first ever SG West Michigan bowling fun day. It totally was. Kirin and I were the only girls, no big, with four other guys with us. Points proven- A.) I suck at bowling B.) Boys are funny when they go all nerd C.) Waiters that stare at boobs and doesn't try to hide…

Quickie...

I have not forgotten all of you, I promise,. I just want to dedicated the proper amount of time to a blog entry as needed and it looks like tomorrow will be that day.
In the Photos for Sale Page I added three new sets of photos to chose from- Fire, Frog, and GH Spring... Hope you like them!!!

365 Photos 27 thru 46

Image
It dawned on me today after working for five hours on photos to sell here on the great blog- that I haven't posted diddly for the 365 project. So here's a recap of days 27 thru 46. Spider bite update- the best way to clear them up is to rip them open and clean them out, constantly. Yuck, gross, eewww, and I so need spot remover now. I am here at work, simultanesouly working on two computers, amazing myself in my own skills, while babysitting the joint for my dad. They had a service call that would take well past the end of business today so I am getting paid to answer the phone and wait for someone to walk in. Fun fun. But, I think I'm going to go- I'm working on character stuff for the re-construct of "Transfer" the next novel on the list. "Medics" just needs to get printed and sent to Editor Girl here shortly. Fun! Yeah! Ugh- too much Benadryl...

Spiders SUCK!!!

Image
I am in pain. I have been in pain since yesterday afternoon. Even more once Hubby came home looked at my back, and operated on me with tweezers and alcohol. Plus I am so hopped up on Benadryl just to keep the reaction down I can't hardly think straight. I took a shower yesterday since I wasn't feeling well, once in the shower I realized my back skin felt tight, hot, and swollen. Hubby came home and took these pictures of my back. Those, ladies and gentlemen, are 27 spider bites. Varying in sizes with the worst ones being almost the size of a quarter. This is what my back looked like post removal of the icky filled zit like heads and rubbing clean and open with alcohol on a gauze pad. Not pleasant, I can assure you. I woke up this morning only to find four more bites from the stinking little fanged bastard that was hiding somewhere in the bedding. I can assure you, he no longer resides in said bedroom. I have mopped, scrubbed, swept, and washed everything with heavily lavender oil…

New Addiction- "Love Etc."

Image
The song: "Love Etc." The group: "Pet Shop Boys" The theme: Happy, Bouncy, Head Trip. Can't help but dance to this song and giggle a bit.
A screen shot collage I found under a Google search for pics from the video:

Check out the video at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=InBiaRBUjUsThe lyrics to the song (since it's a might hard to understand the first time you watch the video or hear the song...)"You need more, you need more, you need more
You need more, you need more, you need more
You need more, you need more, you need more

Boy, it's tough getting on in the world
When the sun doesn't shine and a boy needs a girl
It's about getting out of a rut, you need luck
But you're stuck and don't know how, oh

Don't have to be a big bucks Hollywood star
Don't have to drive a super car to get far
Don't have to live a life of power and wealth
Don't have to be beautiful but it helps

Don't have to buy a house in Beverly hills
Don't have to have yo…

Tornado Box... Revisited

Okay so the weather guessers totally f*in blew it! Both Saturday night and last night. Saturday night they called for heavy weather along and north the I-96 corridor... What actually happened- heavy severe storms along and well north of the US-10 corridor. Gee- they were only off by a hundred plus miles. Idiots! Last night- at eleven o'clock when I checked the radar there was a line of tornado filled storms that stretched from Canada to Mexico heading straight east. When I got up at two am to check the status of the shit stomping storms- NOTHING! Absolutely nothing! There were a couple thundershowers down sound near Benton Harlem, but nothing anywhere close to our area. Just a lot of wind. Holy shit- total idiots!
So today, I had to put my office and computer back together. I had to bring up all the tornado boxes up from the basement and start putting things back together from the packing up I did on Saturday morning. I feel like a damn idiot myself for believing the blessed s*head…

Tornado Box...

The subject of this rare Saturday blog will be discussed shortly. But first- a topic that has been remiss in a long while has flared it's bitter ugly head once again. While I understand my Hubby is on call this weekend, that means at any point he may have to go into work, yet another crap-ta-stic situation has lead me here. Blogging on a Saturday morning instead of spending it with my husband eating breakfast and watching the morning news...

A call in. A call in ten minutes prior to this persons shift... Hmmm... I also understand that things do come up, but the timing for this said call in is a might suspicious. While this person is/was a perspective buyer of my photos (it's been over two weeks with not a peep or hint at an order, so honestly- don't really know if they were serious about buying my photos in the first place) that doesn't change the fact that I am extremely pissed off this morning. If one plans on bailing out of their shift- might I suggest to everyone- c…

New Page Alert!!!

Just in case it doesn't get sent out in an e-mail to everyone- I have posted a new page on the blog's main page. A page where everyone can go to get find out how to go about purchasing some of my photography. Check it out! Lots of great deals going on now...
Aww geees.... I sound professional now don't I?

Blessed Bugs...

The kind with wings that hold unbelievable power over me and turn me into a fluttering girl with a camera. Tuesday, after Hubby worked so hard to get the day off to spend it with Globug and I- we headed off into the sunny morning, bound for the botanical gardens. It was deliriously sunny, but once you stepped out into nature- you froze your ass off. No worries- at least it was sunny. The butterflies are all the more active when there is sun coming in through the cathedral glass ceilings of the gardens. It dawned on all of us a little too late, that it is in fact, spring break for elementary schools in the area. Damn. We got to the gardens- double damn! There was no parking anywhere near the buildings- it was packed. Hubby dropped Globug and I off at the doors, shooing us in while he was a gentleman and went to park the car. She and I had to wait about ten minutes to get tickets in, watching the line behind us swell to an incredible amount. We’re talking way out the doors, down the walk…

Ketchup, Catch-up... Update!

Gotta love Dalmatian's...
The first bright blooms in Mom's garden!!
Where to start... I've missed so many days... Crap! Well- lettuce start on Thursday- the day of the big meeting- aka "I think I threw up in my mouth a little..." I thought I did. By the time I weaved my way through early am Grand Rapids traffic and got to the church on time (actually early) I was so nervous and so mentally bashing myself I thought I threw up in my mouth a little when I burped. Not a great feeling. Oh well- that is indeed why someone created gum, right? Halfway up two flights of stairs, trying not to fall on my ass in the massive "make me the height of am Amazon woman" heels, I realized chewing gum when walking into a business meeting- not so professional. So I swallowed it. Oh well- a few minutes of minty fresh will be doused by coffee anyhoo. Coffee? Dammit. I left my monster in the truck.
I walked in, desperately searching for a face I didn't know- he whom I was gues…
